UKG Partner Subcontracting | Techworq
For UKG implementation partners

Senior functional capacity, under your brand.

You own the program, the client relationship, and the roadmap. We take the workstream that needs depth you can't staff this quarter — pay rules, a stalled parallel, a stabilization tail — and hand it back documented.

Not every gap is a subcontract. If you're building your own bench instead of borrowing ours, that's Talent Placement — same firm, different engagement.

Two interlocking rings representing Techworq's subcontracting partnership with UKG implementation firms

Not a first attempt.

Techworq has already delivered UKG configuration work as a subcontracted consultant for two UKG partner organizations, under their engagements, to their clients, on the same terms described on this page. This isn't a new arrangement we're proposing cold; it's one we've already run successfully.

Where partners bring us in
01

Overflow on a live program

The plan assumed a functional lead you haven't hired. We cover the gap without you re-baselining the schedule or renegotiating scope.

02

The complex rule work

Union agreements, retro pay, multi-state overtime, accrual edge cases — the configuration that consumes a disproportionate share of a program's risk.

03

Stabilization tails

The defect list after go-live, when your team is already committed to the next engagement and the client still needs hands on the system.

04

Diverse-spend requirements on a bid

An RFP carries a supplier-diversity target. Subcontracting to a certified MBE counts toward it — with delivery depth behind the certification, not just the certificate. Applies whether the delivery is subcontracted or the candidate is placed directly onto your team — both count toward supplier-diversity credit.

We don't compete for your client.

Subcontract engagements are delivered under your agreement, in your cadence, to your client contacts. We work white-label where you want it, and we don't approach your client independently during the engagement or after it.

Non-solicit and confidentiality terms are expected, not negotiated reluctantly. Our business is the specific work — not owning the account.

How a subcontract runs

Scoped to the workstream

A defined piece with a defined end, not an open-ended bench placement. You keep the program plan intact.

Your governance, not ours

We report into your PM structure and status rhythm. No parallel process for the client to reconcile.

Documented handoff

Configuration decisions written in language your team and the client's administrators can maintain after we're gone.

Techworq is an independent consultancy. References to UKG products describe the systems we configure and support; nothing on this page implies endorsement by, or a reseller or partner agreement with, UKG.

For partners building capacity

Or grow your own bench: Talent Placement

Not every need is a subcontracted workstream. When you're hiring for your own delivery team — permanent, contract-to-hire, or an executive search for a practice lead — Techworq's Talent Placement practice sources and screens candidates specifically for UKG, payroll, and HR-technology roles. Same specialist lens, same MBE certification, a different engagement model: the person joins your team, not ours.

Permanent hires to grow your practice
Contract-to-hire to cover a pipeline gap
RPO / executive search for a leadership hire
